Basket is an online magazine for contemporary poetry of any form, by both emerging and established writers.
Initially an event series, Basket featured poets Heather Christle, Rory Cook, Alan Fielden, Will Harris, Hannah Sullivan, and Jack Underwood, alongside musicians and artists.

Editor-in-Chief — Jordan Hayward
Jordan Hayward is a poet and editor based in Manchester, whose work has appeared in The Rialto, bath magg, PROTOTYPE 6, and The London Magazine. He was a member of the 2023/24 New Poets Collective at the Southbank Centre, and has seen all 38 Godzilla movies.
Managing Editor — Lucy Snow
Lucy ‘Slug’ Snow is a writer based in Manchester, with a background in marketing, including literary marketing for Carcanet Press and PN Review. She is a taxidermy hobbyist, and is in search of the real resting place of Hollywood dog-actor Rin Tin Tin.
